PINK ANTHEM

Pink Anthem: A Healing Journey Through Music and Connection

Join Pink Anthem, a therapy group for women with breast cancer focused on healing through creativity and empowerment. Each week, engage for 90 minutes to:

Express Your Story: Share your journey in a supportive space with those who understand.
Build Connection: Connect with women sharing similar experiences, fostering sisterhood.
Explore Coping Tools: Use creative arts, EMDR, and music for emotional healing.

At Pink Anthem, create your personal anthem—a song highlighting your strength and journey. With professional musicians and therapists, write and record your story, reclaiming your voice.

Welcome to Pink Anthem: Where Healing Meets Art and Music

Pink Anthem is the brainchild of PBA’s friend and colleague, psychologist Dr. Brette Genzel-Derman of IPG. It is a movement that empowers breast cancer survivors to share their stories through art and music. This 8-week therapy and song-writing group will include talented professionals:

  • Miles Regis, a renowned visual artist, will help survivors express their stories through powerful artwork that transforms pain into beauty.

  • Award-winning musicians Courtney Fortune and Jasmine Crowe will assist participants in crafting and recording original songs that celebrate their survival and journeys.

  • Dr. Paula Bruce from PBA will co-facilitate the group with Dr. Genzel-Derman, providing guidance in trauma recovery and resilience.

Join us in honoring survivors, turning pain into power, stories into songs, and healing into harmony.
