FORENSIC EVALUATIONS
FORENSIC EVALUATIONS
Forensic evaluations refer to comprehensive psychological assessments that intersect with the legal profession.
In these specific matters, psychologists are called into legal proceedings to provide objective and comprehensive psychological evaluations and to give expert witness testimony on particular areas of psychology and psychological functioning.
Dr. Paula Bruce has developed unique expertise in forensic evaluations and has served as an expert witness—including testifying at trial —in various civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, trauma, sexual assault, sexual harassment (#metoo cases), rideshare sexual assault, employment discrimination, racial trauma, and clergy abuse. Dr. Bruce has also conducted forensic evaluations in complicated Family Law matters.
Her expertise in these nuanced areas of psychology has provided expert insight and clarity in many legal situations of a delicate nature. For more information related to forensic assessments, evaluations, and other psycho-legal matters, please contact Dr. Paula Bruce at drpaula@pbapsychology.com.
