COUPLES THERAPY

COUPLES THERAPY

What Is Couples Therapy?
Couples therapy focuses on improving the relationships that matter most. Whether between partners, spouses, or between parents and children, these forms of therapy provide a supportive space to strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and build healthier connections. The goal is not to place blame, but to create understanding, cooperation, and lasting change within relationships.

How It Works
In couples therapy, partners work together with a therapist to address recurring conflicts, communication breakdowns, or challenges such as trust issues, intimacy concerns, or life transitions. Couples can explore dynamics, heal misunderstandings, and improve patterns of interaction. Therapists may draw from approaches like Psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, or Family Systems Therapy, depending on the needs of the couple.
