DR. PAULA BRUCE

Dr. Paula Bruce is the Founder, CEO and Executive Clinical Director of this growing practice and is an experienced and well-respected clinical, forensic and media psychologist who has been licensed in California (PSY 16248) since 1999. Dr. Bruce is additionally licensed in New York (026403) and Virginia (081008411).

Dr. Bruce’s rich psychotherapy practice includes individual, couple and family psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults and working with clients who are public figures, highly celebrated and/or those who require a high level of privacy. Dr. Bruce is also expert in complex high conflict family and couples therapy matters including family reunification matters.

Dr. Bruce is also expert in conducting psychological testing for ADHD, ASD and other issues, and has conducted forensic evaluations and served as an expert witness in numerous high profile civil litigation matters involving trauma.

Dr. Bruce provides media consultation and has been a frequent expert appearing on several national television shows discussing a range of important psychological issues.

DR. JANICE NISHIYAMA

Dr. Janice Nishiyama is the Clinical Director and a Senior Clinical Supervisor in the practice. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees from the well-respected California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. She has been a licensed psychologist in California since 1999 (PSY16545).

Dr. Nishiyama works primarily with adults, adolescents and couples, specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, issues that arise from a toxic workplace, and women’s issues. She also works with high profile individuals, helping them navigate the complicated nuances between their public and private lives. Additionally, she works with high-conflict couples who are either trying to make their relationship work or to separate in a way that honors their relationship and themselves, as well as those working in high-level corporate environments.

ASHLEY WENDT

Ashley Wendt, M.A., LMFT is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 128374), a Florida Telehealth Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (TLHT LMFT 1658) and a Clinical Supervisor in the practice. Ashley received her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in trauma. She has a wide range of clinical experience, working with adults, adolescents and couples of all backgrounds to address trauma, personality issues, interpersonal conflict, issues related to attachment, life transitions, grief, eating disorders, and mood regulation. Ashley also has experience with high conflict families and couples, and has worked with family law cases to provide reunification therapy.

KELVIN MARTINEZ

Kelvin Martinez, M.A., LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 156145). He received a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and comprehensive clinical training at AIDS Project Los Angeles where he worked in depth with adults, couples, and groups from a diverse range of life experiences. 

As an existential therapist, Kelvin collaborates with clients to address their mental health priorities while also cultivating meaning, depth, and intentionality in the process. His clinical experience includes working with clients through issues related to life transitions, sexuality, gender, aging, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, professional burnout, grief and more.

NEVE JOHNSON

Neve Johnson, M.S., AMFT, is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 140119) practicing under the supervision of Dr. Janice Nishiyama (PSY 16545). She completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at Arizona State University and received her Master of Science (M.S.) in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Southern California. Neve has experience working with individuals, families, couples, and adolescents, and children.  She has a wide breadth of clinical experience including addiction, mood dysregulation, anxiety, self-esteem building, developmental trauma and complex PTSD, personality disorders, interpersonal relational difficulties, and parenting concerns. Additionally, she works with neurodivergence, sexuality and racial trauma, marital issues, attachment trauma, and grief and loss. Neve is experienced and has a special interest in working with individuals from varying backgrounds including the BIPOC and LGBTQ2IA+ communities.

JOLIE RITTENBERRY-KRAEMER

Jolie Rittenberry-Kraemer, M.A., AMFT is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 144210) practicing under the supervision of Ashley Wendt, M.A., LMFT (LMFT 128374). She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Fashion Design at Parsons The New School for Design and received her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, with a specialization in LGBTQ2IA+ Affirmative Psychology. 

Jolie is well versed in working with addiction, anxiety, complex and early developmental trauma, mood dysregulation, personality disorders, grief and phase of life transitions, coming out and emerging adulthood issues, neurodiversity, chronic illness and disability, and relationship challenges. Jolie is experienced with working with couples, adopting a sex positive approach and experience with kink and consensually non-monogamous communities.

ERIC WINDELL

Eric Windell, M.S., AMFT is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 142025), supervised by Dr. Janice Nishiyama (PSY 16545). He holds a B.A. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and an M.S. in Clinical Counseling from Mount Saint Mary’s University.

Eric works with adults, adolescents, couples, children, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relational conflicts, polyamory, childhood trauma, ADHD, parenting concerns, parent-child bonding, behavioral matters, ASD, learning disabilities, chronic illness, identity issues, coming out, death and dying, perfectionism, and work stress. He has a particular interest in repairing childhood wounds, processing loss, the search for meaning in work and relationships, exploring masculinity, and LGBTQI2A+ identity.

CRYSTAL LEE

Crystal Lee, M.A. is the Office Manager at PBA Psychology Group, overseeing the administrative operations of both the Beverly Hills and DTLA offices. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. In her role, Crystal handles various essential tasks, including managing insurance and billing processes, overseeing the practice’s social media presence, and ensuring the smooth operation of office activities. She is dedicated to creating a supportive environment for the staff, always striving to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
