JOB OPPORTUNITY – PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER (PMHNP)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric and mental health services, including independent prescribing, crisis intervention, and leadership within a collaborative private practice setting.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of clients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
Accurately diagnose, administer medications and monitor client responses to treatment.
Collaborate with clinicians to ensure effective care.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EHR system.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Able to work with adolescents and adults.
Qualifications
Current and active California Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification.
Certification by the California Board of Registered Nurse (BRN) as a 103 Nurse Practitioner (NP) under B & P Code 2837.103
National Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Nurses Credentialing Center [ANCC], American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP], Pediatric Nursing Certification Board [PNCB]).
Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license or registration for prescribing controlled substances.

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per client hour
